Notice on Online Filling of Arrival Card for Foreigners
Dear passengers,
According to the notice from the National Immigration Administration, starting from November 20, 2025, the online filling of arrival card for foreigners will be implemented at entry and exit ports across the country. The main contents are as follows:
Before coming to China, foreigners can fill in entry-related information online through the government website of the National Immigration Administration, the government service platform, the "Immigration Administration 12367" APP and WeChat (Alipay) mini program, scanning the arrival card filling code on the mobile phones and other channels. For foreigners who do not meet the conditions for online filling, they can fill in entry information online by scanning the QR code with their mobile phones or using on-site smart devices when arriving at the entry and exit border inspection station of the Chinese port, or fill in a paper arrival card for foreigners.
Foreigners in the following 7 situations are exempt from filling:
1. Holders of People's Republic of China Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card.
2. Holders of Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens).
3. Holders of group visa or those eligible for group visa-free entry.
4. Those transiting directly within 24 hours without leaving the designated port area.
5. Those traveling by cruise ship to and from the country and returning on the same cruise ship.
6. Those entering via the fast track channel.
7. Foreign employees of inbound and outbound transportation vehicles, etc.
