Latest Notice on Regulation of Entry from Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Singapore to China

Dear passengers,

The latest adjustments to pre-departure testing and health code application policies for passengers taking non-stop flights from Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Singapore to China are as follows:

From March 1, 2023(local time):

I. Passengers flying directly to China from the above countries are allowed to take an antigen test or a nucleic acid test. They are allowed to leave for China after taking the test 48 hours before departure and receiving a negative result.。Those who test positive may go to China only after they test negative. (Note: The antigen test or nucleic acid test must be completed within 48 hours before the airplane takes off. For example, if you plan to fly to China at 14:00 on March 8, you can take a test after 14:00 on March 6.) The airline will not check the nucleic acid test report or antigen test result.

II. Without applying for a health code from the Chinese embassy. Please choose any of the following channels to fill in the "People's Republic of China Exit/Entry Health Declaration Card" with your nucleic acid test or antigen test result received within 48 hours before boarding: WeChat Mini Program “海关旅客指尖服务” (Customs Passenger Fingertip Service), “掌上海关” (CHINA CUSTOMS) app, or Web page (https://htdecl.chinaport.gov.cn/htdeclweb/home/pages/healthDeclare/declare.html

III. The airline is not required to check the nucleic acid test report or antigen test result before allowing passengers to board.

IV. Pandemic prevention on board: Passengers should wear a mask and take necessary self-protection measures to reduce the risk of being infected.

V. Testing upon arrival: Passengers shall go through necessary customs clearance formalities using their health condition declaration code upon arrival in China. The customs will perform sampling tests based on a certain proportion of people and test those whose declared health information is abnormal or those who have a fever and other symptoms. People who test positive shall be quarantined at home, in their place of residence, or at a hospital accordingly. People who test negative will be inspected in accordance with laws and regulations such as the Frontier Health and Quarantine Law of the People's Republic of China. Those who pass the required test and inspection will be allowed to enter.

VI. Pandemic prevention and control: Passengers shall strictly follow the local requirements of pandemic prevention and control after entering China.
